Long-Lasting Protection for Clean, Safe Pools

3 Inch Chlorine Tablets

With over two decades of experience in chlorine tablet production, 3Chlorine offers pool owners a product that is tried, tested, and perfected. Our 3-inch chlorine tablets are compressed under high pressure using pure trichlor, ensuring slow, controlled dissolution for long-lasting effectiveness.
Each tablet is designed to:

  • Release chlorine evenly, avoiding local concentration spikes
  • Maintain stable sanitation levels over time
  • Control bacteria and algae growth in both residential and commercial pools
  • Reduce the need for frequent manual dosing

This means more consistent water quality, better protection, and less maintenance.

A Smarter, Safer Way to Sanitize

We understand pool maintenance should be efficient and hassle-free. That’s why each of our tablets is individually wrapped — making them safer to handle, easier to store, and cleaner to use.
Our tablets are compatible with:

  • Floating chlorine dispensers
  • Automatic chlorinators (recommended for best performance)

Available in packaging options that suit pools of all sizes:

  • 10 lbs. Bucket
  • 22 lbs. Bucket
  • 50 lbs. Bucket
  • 100 lbs. Bucket

Built for Consistency, Backed by Precision

Unlike many mass-produced tablets, we manage every stage of production — from formulation to final packaging — to ensure consistent quality and chemical integrity. Here’s what sets us apart:

  • High-pressure compression for the slowest-dissolving tablet performance
  • Even chlorine distribution to protect pool surfaces and equipment
  • Designed to last longer and perform reliably — even in hot weather or high-usage pools

When you use 3Chlorine tablets, you’re choosing precision, durability, and peace of mind.

Take Control of Your Pool Water Quality

Clean pool water starts with balance. To get the most out of your chlorine tablets, we recommend:

  • Pre-testing water for pH (target: 7.3–7.8) and alkalinity (target: ~100 ppm)
  • Avoid placing tablets directly in the pool or skimmer to prevent liner or equipment damage
  • Use a floating dispenser or chlorinator to manage chlorine release
  • Begin with a shock treatment to remove existing contaminants before regular chlorination
  • Maintain free chlorine levels at 3–5 ppm with regular testing

These practices help extend the life of your water chemistry and reduce issues like algae blooms, cloudiness, and irritation.

Why Choose 3Chlorine?

  • Manufactured with full process control for quality assurance
  • Engineered for slow, predictable chlorine release
  • Designed for long-term storage and easy handling
  • Supports safe, efficient pool sanitation year-round

With 3Chlorine’s 3-inch tablets, you’re not just maintaining a pool — you’re investing in consistent clarity, healthier water, and greater convenience.

The 3-Step Program for Using Chlorine Tablets Effectively

As pool care professionals, we emphasize that proper use of chlorine tablets requires more than just tossing them into the water. Follow this expert-approved 3-step process to maintain clear, safe, and balanced pool water.

Step 1: Adjust Water Chemistry
Before adding any chlorine tablets, test and balance your pool water. Adjust pH to between 7.3 and 7.8, and ensure total alkalinity is at least 100 ppm. This creates the ideal environment for chlorine to work effectively while protecting pool surfaces and equipment.

Step 2: Pre-Shock Treatment
Use a granular chlorine shock to quickly raise free chlorine levels to 3–5 ppm. This eliminates bacteria, organic matter, and early algae growth, allowing chlorine tablets to maintain rather than recover water quality.

Step 3: Controlled Tablet Dispensing
Place GLB 3” tablets in a floater, feeder, or skimmer—never directly into the pool. Use one tablet per 5,000–10,000 gallons and adjust as needed based on daily water testing. In hot weather or high-usage periods, shock the pool weekly to prevent chlorine depletion and algae growth.

Following this method ensures optimal chlorine performance and reduces long-term maintenance costs.
